Landscape Maintenance

The City of Madera’s Landscape Maintenance Districts (LMDs) help maintain and enhance public spaces throughout designated areas of the city. Managed by the Parks & Community Services Department, these districts are responsible for the upkeep of landscaping, streetlights, and sidewalks to promote a clean, safe, and attractive environment.

LMDs focus on routine maintenance tasks such as lawn care, tree trimming, irrigation management, and lighting upkeep. Funding for these services is secured through designated sources, and the City often collaborates with developers and agencies to ensure clear responsibilities for ongoing maintenance.

By coordinating efforts across departments and partners, Madera’s LMDs play a key role in preserving the city’s curb appeal and quality of life for residents and visitors alike.
