Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers

The Parks and Community Services Department welcomes civic organizations, schools, clubs, boy and girl scout troops, and interested citizens who wish to help clean, maintain, and upgrade City parks. We also assist corporations and businesses looking for employee service projects. The scope of work varies and any size or age group can be accommodated. Tasks include anything that can be accomplished in a park such as painting, trash pickup, tree/brush trimming, river cleanup, and other labor-intensive tasks that may be unique to a particular site. We are also constantly seeking volunteer coaches to assist with sports programs.

Parks make life better, YOU make parks better. Volunteer today!

If you or someone you know is interested in coaching a youth or adult sports team, and would like to learn more about the volunteer opportunities we offer, please contact the Parks Department at 1 (559) 662-4987.

Sports Teams Sponsorship Opportunities

We take pride in building sponsor packages that meet your needs directly. From specific events or league sponsorship, to facility-wide packages, we cater to your goals to create a true partnership.
